Celebrating our schools: Cranbrook Education Campus, Exwick Heights Primary School, Isca Academy, St James School, West Exe School.

There was great excitement at the Met Office on Thursday 16 November 2017, where the Ted Wragg Multi Academy Trust held its first Celebration Event. It was an opportunity for all Ted Wragg Trust schools to come together to acknowledge the success of students from across the Trust for their Academic Endeavour and Community Contribution. The pupils were presented with certificates, badges and special awards. It was an evening led by students for students and included some stunning performances to entertain the audience, which included Ted Wragg’s wife Judith and daughter Caroline.

Rob Bosworth, Chair of the Trust said, “This has been an amazing evening, the award winners, student hosts, student ushers and all the performers make us extremely proud of the Ted Wragg Trust. And we are really delighted that we were able to share this evening with Ted Wragg’s family”. He also thanked the Met Office for giving their kind permission to use its conference facilities and the generous sponsors who enabled the event to take place.

Moira Marder, CEO of the Ted Wragg Trust said, “The evening was a wonderful, celebratory, inclusive event that highlighted everything the Ted Wragg Trust stands for. In this first year of the awards, the competition has been very strong and all of our award winners should be immensely proud of what they have achieved. ”
