COVID-19 Up-date Tuesday, 05 January 2021

Following the government announcement last night we can confirm that our schools will only be able to admit nursery children, vulnerable pupils and children of critical workers who have no other option of looking after their children at home. All other children will now need to stay at home and move to remote learning. For further information on the definition of vulnerable pupils and those of keyworkers please visit the government website here.

We understand these are extraordinary circumstances and challenging for many to be faced with home learning once again. We will continue to all work together during these unprecedented times, for the best possible outcomes for everyone in our communities.

The health and wellbeing of all our pupils and staff is of paramount importance to us. We will continue to ensure all appropriate measures are taken during this period of partial closure, to ensure we are safeguarding our pupils and staff who will still be operating on and off site and to ensure our school is ready to fully open at the earliest possible opportunity.

Please continue to check individual school websites for regular and reliable updates directly from the school on this matter.

Current guidance issued by the government can be accessed here. Devon County Council has also produced information which can be found here.

We would like to thank you for your continued support in these uncertain times and we will continue to keep you up-dated as further guidance is released.
