The Ted Wragg Trust welcomes Lady Teresa Gardner to the Board.

We would like to offer a very warm welcome to Lady Teresa Gardner, as she joins the Board of Trustees here at our ambitious and inclusive Trust of Schools.

Teresa is the second Trustee from Plymouth and will be a great addition to the Board. She will also sit on the Audit and Risk Committee.

Moira Marder, Chief Executive of the Ted Wragg Trust, says: “We are delighted to announce the appointment of Teresa to our Board of Trustees, who I believe will be a huge asset to our already impressive team. I am looking forward to working closely with her as we embark on an exciting period of innovation and growth.”

Teresa is a Master of Education (Leadership), she gained extensive senior management experience as a Director of Faculty in a large Further Education College. Her responsibilities included quality assurance and improvement working closely with a number of departments to raise achievement and improve the learner experience. Teresa remains committed to improving the educational environment for all by raising standards.

She has worked as a post-16 local authority and adult independent learning provider quality improvement consultant which has enabled her to gain wider experience and to play a significant role in ensuring appropriate, good, and well-taught curriculum is accessible, so that learners are enabled to know and do more and are able progress in their aspirations.

Teresa said: “I am incredibly honoured to be joining the Board of Trustees here at the Ted Wragg Trust. It is an incredibly exciting time to be involved with the Trust whose values align with my own as I am a firm believer in social justice and lifelong education and learning. I am very excited to be working with the Trust and look forward to using my expertise to improve opportunity for all.”
