The Ted Wragg Multi-Academy Trust is a dynamic, values-driven trust providing education across the Greater Exeter area. Our core mission is the transformation of lives through learning, ensuring that the Trust delivers outstanding outcomes for every pupil regardless of background. We are currently operating five schools (Cranbrook Education Campus, Isca Academy, St James school, Exwick Heights Primary school and West Exe school) providing a rich and diverse curriculum for over 3,500 learners, with further planned growth during 2019.

We are now seeking to appoint an exceptional Clerk to embed and develop the existing high standards of governance across the Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional and personable individual who can work confidently and autonomously with our dedicated Board of Trustees, Executive and our individual school Clerks. You will support the Trustees by ensuring consistent and effective governance across the Trust including preparing focused agendas, accurately taking minutes of meetings, maintaining statutory registers and documents as well as providing procedural and constitutional advice and administrative support.

To be successful in this role, your organisational skills will be second to none and you will be an excellent communicator with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships at all levels. You will be able to work on your own initiative, be naturally self-motivated and have a flexible and proactive ‘can do’ attitude. Sound administrative skills along with the ability to multi-tasking and prioritise is a prerequisite. Collaborative working and committing to our values is a non-negotiable requirement.
