Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprentice – Grade A (£9.25 per hour)

Cranbrook Education Campus are looking for a kind, caring and enthusiastic person to support the nursery to deliver an exceptional standard of childcare and education; someone who is passionate about children learning through a wide variety of activities in a fun, safe environment.  With training you will learn to support the educational programmes in the nursery participating in the planning, preparation and practices. You will contribute towards a stimulating, safe learning environment in which children’s welfare, learning and development needs are met while encouraging exploration opportunities when they arise.  The role will involve encouraging children throughout the learning environment to freely choose from the variety of fun and educational resources available to them.

You will receive specific on the job workplace training together with off the job training from our apprenticeship provider to work towards completion of the Level 2 Childcare Nursery Assistant qualification.  The majority of your training will be carried out at the Campus, however there may occasionally be a requirement to attend our apprenticeship provider’s training centre in Plymouth City Centre for off-the-job seminars and input tutorial sessions.  Apprentices without level 2 English and Maths (A*-C or 9-4 GCSE) will need to achieve this level before completion of their Apprenticeship.
