Playworker/Aspirant Teaching Assistant - Cranbrook Education Campus

8.75hours per week for 39 weeks per year, Monday – Friday,

EYFS: 11.30am -1.15pm or Primary: 11.45am-1.30pm

Start Date:  Immediately

£3,555 – £3,626 per annum plus access to Local Government Pension Scheme

We are seeking to appoint motivated and creative Play Workers who will be responsible for ensuring that our children are supported positively and having fun at lunchtimes.

The successful candidates will:

  • be committed to providing enriched, fun activities for our children at lunchtimes.
  • use positive behaviour management strategies to make lunchtimes enjoyable and safe for our pupils.
  • be able to support children in developing good eating habits and successful games play at lunchtimes.
  • have the skills and sensitivity to deal with all members of our school community.

These positions are also suitable for aspirant Teaching Assistants who would like voluntary class based placements in addition to their working hours as a Playworker.
