Permanent, term-time only, 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Grade D, actual starting salary (pro-rata) £14,116

We are seeking to appoint a capable and motivation Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Coordinator as part of our Inclusion Team. The role will primarily focus on working one to one and with small groups of students to encourage them to maximise their potential through a range of strategies and support programmes centred on social, emotional, mental health and wellbeing. You will also help implement agreed SEND programmes for individuals or groups, addressing the needs of students who require particular help to overcome barriers to learning and reach their potential.

You will have a good level of English and Maths, as well as experience of working with individuals and groups of students, ideally in a school setting. You will be a resourceful and flexible person with a positive mind set, with the ability to inspire students and remain calm under pressure. You will need to have high expectations of the students and yourself and be self-motivated and able to work independently, while also being an effective team member.

Our school is located on a modern campus with purpose-built accommodation, offering spacious and excellent teaching and learning facilities. We have a roll of over 1,000 students, having grown to full capacity in September 2021. Isca Academy prides itself on providing high quality comprehensive education.
