Salary: Grade E/D – (£20,092 – £27,041 pro rata)

Appointment type: 37 hours per week – term time only (39 weeks per annum).  18.5 hours per week for each role. (Actual salary – Sports Coach £10,191 – £11,476 and Cover Supervisor £8,527 – £9,414)

Job term: Fixed term until 31st August 2022

We wish to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and capable individual to cover lessons when teaching staff are absent, to be a sports coach and to take a lead role in our extra- curricular sporting offer.  The successful candidate will work with the teaching and learning team to ensure great cover lessons are delivered and with our thriving PE department to raise the profile of sport in the school.

As Sports Coach and Cover Supervisor, the successful candidate will supervise the completion of set work, supervise classroom activities, maintain discipline and implement behaviour management controls in accordance with school policy.  They will also provide 1-1 support to students and coach pupils in a range of sports.
