During the visit, students discovered the ancient city of Pompeii, learning more about life in Roman times and the impact of the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. They also climbed Vesuvius itself, taking in the stunning views across the Bay of Naples.

The trip included a boat journey along the coastline to Salerno, as well as visits to Amalfi and Sorrento, giving students the opportunity to experience the region’s history, geography and local culture first-hand.

At Isca Academy, part of the Ted Wragg Trust, students are encouraged to take part in a wide range of trips and activities that complement their learning and help them explore new places and perspectives.
