Ted Wragg Trust students celebrate GCSE success and bright futures

Students, families and staff across the Ted Wragg Trust family of schools are celebrating as young people across Devon and Plymouth receive their GCSE results.

Across the Trust, students have secured the qualifications needed to open the door to a range of exciting opportunities after years of hard work, resilience and ambition. This year, seven out of ten students across the family of schools achieved a standard pass (grade 4 or above) in both English and Maths, providing a strong foundation as they take their next steps into sixth form, college, apprenticeships and other exciting pathways.

Today marks an important milestone in students' educational journeys and reflects far more than examination results alone. It is also a recognition of the personal growth, resilience and character developed throughout their time at school. Whether in the classroom, on the sports field, through enrichment activities or within their local communities, students have embraced opportunities, overcome challenges and made a lasting contribution to school life.

Supported by dedicated staff and families, young people across the Trust have developed the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to succeed. As they collect their results, they leave with much more than a set of qualifications. They move forward as resilient, ambitious and community-minded young people, ready to embrace the opportunities ahead and write the next chapter of their story with confidence and purpose.

Moira Marder, CEO of the Ted Wragg Trust, said:

"Congratulations to every student receiving their GCSE results today. I am incredibly proud of the achievements of students across our family of schools. Behind every result is the dedication of talented staff, supportive families and the determination of young people who have worked tirelessly to achieve their goals.

"At the Ted Wragg Trust, we believe education has the power to transform lives and today is a celebration of just that. Whether our students are moving on to one of our sixth forms, college, apprenticeships or other exciting pathways, they do so with ambition, resilience and a strong foundation for the future. I can't wait to see what they go on to achieve."

While today is an opportunity to celebrate students across the Trust, every school has its own unique success stories to share. Read more below about the GCSE results, standout achievements and student celebrations from each of our schools.
