A group of students from years 7, 8 and 9 took part in an interactive training session designed to help them understand bullying, its impact, and the important role they can play in creating a school community where everyone feels safe and valued.

As part of Isca Academy’s ongoing Anti-Bullying Ambassador programme, the students developed leadership skills and practical strategies to support their peers, helping them become positive role models.

They will now work alongside fellow Anti-Bullying Ambassadors to promote kindness and respect across the school, helping make Isca Academy an even more welcoming place for everyone.

The Diana Award Anti-Bullying Programme helps young people develop the skills and confidence to tackle bullying and create positive change in their schools. Through a peer-led approach, students are supported to become ambassadors who can encourage kindness and inclusion both online and offline.

Part of the Ted Wragg Trust, Isca Academy is committed to helping students grow as individuals and develop qualities that will support them throughout their education and beyond.

Our Anti-Bullying Ambassador programme has been running successfully for several years, and it is wonderful to welcome another group of students who are committed to championing kindness and respect across our school. They have already shown a real commitment, and we look forward to seeing the difference they make.”
