Our Trust of Schools

Our Sixth Forms

Across the Ted Wragg Trust, our Sixth Forms offer something truly special. While we are a family of 18 schools, a select number provide dedicated Sixth Form provision – each with its own distinctive character, strengths and community, united by a shared commitment to high aspirations and exceptional support.

Our Sixth Forms are places where young people are treated as individuals and as emerging adults. Students are encouraged to aim high, think independently and take responsibility for their learning, while being supported by expert teaching and strong pastoral care. Whether following academic or vocational pathways, every student is guided to make confident, informed choices about their next steps—be that university, apprenticeships or employment.

The Ted Wragg Advantage

Within our sixth forms we are dedicated to fostering a culture of relentlessly positive collaboration, empowering our students to reach their aspirations and go on to live a life of opportunity. As part of the Ted Wragg Trust, our students have access to a strong network and wide range of support and opportunities from across our family of schools. These include:

  • The Sixth Form Conference: Bringing together sixth form students from across our schools, offering opportunities including university subject specific workshops, wellbeing support and activities to build relationships with others.
  • The Ted Wragg Awards: An opportunity to recognise and reward the remarkable contributions across our family of schools, shining a light on those who go above and beyond to make a lasting impact.
  • University application support: High quality support for students going through the university application process. We have strong links to the University of Exeter, University of Plymouth and Plymouth Marjon and regularly partner with these institutions for events and learning opportunities. We also work with the Colyton Foundation to support those students applying for highly competitive universities include Oxford and Cambridge.
